LA TRAGEDIA DE MACARIO TRAILER

This is the trailer to "La Tragedia de Macario," a film directed by Pablo Veliz, which was recently accepted into the 2006 Sundance Film Festival. Sundance will host the Wolrd Premeire of La Tragedia de Macario during January 19-29, 2006. For more information visit the Sundace website. The film won the Best Feature Film award at the 2005 Houston Pan-American Film Festival.

The film was inspired by the true events of immigrants from Mexico exhausting every effort to find a better life in the United States and paying the ultimate price as they attempt to cross the borders into a new world. Written, directed, and edited by Pablo Véliz. Starring in this film are Rogelio Ramos, Milicent Figueroa, Tina Rodriguez, Victor Agustin, Juanita Castro, and Allan Horwath.
